Reliving July in August

I thought I would post some more of my favorites from my last session. My beloved laptop crashed a couple of weeks ago - so I have nothing new to show. But here are a few that were edited before and survived the crash.

I just love the mother/daughter interaction in the background. They were coloring while I was photographing the baby, and I thought it was a sweet moment.

I know this has been done. But for me the classics always ring true.

Here Mom and Daughter were playing "Red Light, Green Light". I caught the cutest expression as she was waiting for the green light.

May 26th, it's been too long!

One from a recent session. I know I blew out the side of her face, but I just really love the expression on this one. She was having so much fun.

I especially love the clarity in her eyes. On a 100% crop you can see me perfectly, kneeling in the gravel!

Week of March 5-11

Oh boy am I behind! Well, let me see what I can dig up for you all.

Here is a self portrait I did in the 5th (my birthday). I was playing around with applying make up and airbrushing in photoshop.

And here is a recent of my baby boy...

So the reason I have not really accomplished anything as of late is because I got a new action I am having fun with. I am still tweaking, trying to figure out if this is something I can really use (or if it is just for fun). Here is an example of the before and after.

JMK, at the park. The sky was overcast which made for great picture taking.

Full Bloom

From yesterday. The same flowers as before, just at their fullest!

I have more images, but this was the only one I got edited before my computer informed me that my hard drive was almost full! Yikes! I guess uploading 30+ pictures a day isn't good for memory. :)

In Bloom

These were part of my Valentine's Day present. When Hubby brought them to me there were no blooms to be found. On Friday I woke up to this!

I brought the Tulips into my kitchen to get the blue background and some natural light from the skylights. They are so pretty!

The sun then went behind a cloud, making everything a bit cooler.

Then just as quickly came back with dramatic, intense light.

All in all I got some very different images out of one still subject!

I didn't take this today, but I was editing last night and I really love it so I'm gonna post it here. This is the fabulous Miss M on her first birthday. She was enjoying her cake. It took her a bit to get into it, but once Daddy started making funny faces, she was all smiles.

I'm Still Here

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know I have been going through some personal stuff and just haven't had it in me to process any photos lately. I have still been taking pics here and there, but they are slow coming off the camera and on to the computer.
